iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 Are Packed with High End Technology - Technology - Communication

One of the most prolific mobile phones in recent times is the iPhone 4, but it has been a at the top of the segment by the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S2. The availability of a number of features in the Samsung phone combined with the incredible price has meant that the sales of the iPhone 4 has dropped for the first time since its introduction. Apple has always been very quick in replacing its older models, but the iPhone 4 remains as one of the few phones to escape the threat of replacement even after more than a year of its launch. However, it is finally set to be replaced by the upcoming iPhone 5, which has not been officially unveiled by the company.

The iPhone 4 is a model that in itself is very rich in features, but in comparison with the Samsung Galaxy S2, it looks very pale indeed. For example, the decision not to increase the screen size for the iPhone 4 has meant that there is a vast difference between the Samsung phone and the Apple product in terms of screen size alone. The difference further extends into other features like the camera and the final nail in the coffin is provided by the price of the Samsung Galaxy S2. The iPhone 5, on the other hand, does not seem to be the phone to repeat these mistakes, has it is likely to offer a variety of features like an increased to screen size - it is expected to be around 4 inches.

This is partly because of the edge-to-edge technology that has been embraced by the company. The increase in the screen size is likely to be met with an equal increase in the entertainment quotient of the phone. Even though the iPhone 4 itself offered the 16 GB and 32 GB memory options, it was not able to take full advantage of it because of the 3.5 inch touch screen display. The iPhone 5, on the other hand, will be able to make their memory work for it in its favour, since it comes with a very large display. In addition to this, the iPhone 5 is expected to be the first iPhone of its generation to offer the memory card support, although it is slightly stretching the limits of what could be offered in the phone.

However, one feature that seems to be confirmed to be present in the iPhone 5 is the eight megapixel camera, which is a major improvement over the five megapixel unit present in the iPhone 4. This eight megapixel camera is likely to offer the full HD 1080 p video recording along with many other features, which were sorely missed in the iPhone 4. The presence of the dual core processor will enable the iPhone 5 to power the new iOS 5 to greater speeds, although this operating system is also likely to be available in the iPhone 4 as well. The iPhone 5 could be launched in September.
