The technology world is a buzz with the release of the new Apple Iphone 5 the release date has been debated. Apple will not confirm the release date, originally thought to be in June but some speculate that it could be later.
The new Iphone 5 will sport a new bigger 4 inch screen to compete with the new smartphones. As with most technology the prices of the new Iphones will be cheaper than the previous models. New Iphones will feature a more compatible Sim card that is easy to configure to many different systems. Many people are excited about the A4 processor that the Iphones are going to have. Unlike earlier models of the iphones the Iphone 5 will have a new NFC chip this will create a great deal of convince for the consumer. When shopping instead of carrying cash or credit cards all you will have to do is swipe your Iphone at your reatailer this technology uses near field communications to process payments.
One of the features that most individuals will be interested in is the improved antenna, better camera, and the new slick lighter feel of the new Iphone. The new Iphones offer crisper clearer sound. There has also been much anticipation in fact that it will now be available in white and black.
The new Iphones will run on a 4g network instead of a 3g network so with that AT&T will probably not work well for these new phones. AT&T was one of the main reasons for the iphone 4 jailbreaks because they would not work on AT&T network. This is some of the glitches that come about when you are one of the first to purchase the new technology. Most of the reviews that I have read about the new Iphones has been very good it is thought that the price would be less than 500 dollars.
Many people feel that the June release is highly unlikely that a more realistic release date would be in the fall. We can only speculate Apple seems to be very tight lipped about the release date. As it gets closer we will certainly hear more about the release date.
So far there are not much other specifications of the new iPhone that are known. Insiders expect the iPhone 5 to be evolutionary not revolutionary, meaning that they are likely to build further on the older versions of the iPhone. Keeping that in mind we might see a slightly larger 3.7 inch touchscreen as we don't believe that Apple will immediately come with a 4.0 plus inch touchscreen for their new device. Apple might also improve the camera to an 8 megapixel one, however this is not really necessary as the 5 megapixel camera of the iPhone 4 has already proven to be better than many 8 or even 12 megapixel camera's of other smartphones. We do expect Apple to also introduce iOS 5 together with the iPhone 5 bringing al new kind of features to the Apple smartphones and also improve the usability of the phones.The iPhone 5 is expected to be introduced at the end of June 2011 and the phone will most likely hit the stores in July.
