Crazy New Look For iPhone 5 This September? - Technology - Cell Phones

With the upcoming release of iPhone 5 sometime next month, news around the world about how the new gadget will look like are as many as rumors sorronding the release of iPhone 4. While this is a common marketing strategy for the highly secrective Apple Corp when about to release a new product, people are still expecting to ride on the bandwagon to know what will be their next Apple smartphone looks like. Let's take a look at some of the most common features and description offered by tech websites around the world.

An ovaloid button? Leaked pictures from some websites like 9to5mac.com showed that the new iPhone 5 will have a rounded rectangular spot where the original button was located. The shape for such button was allegedly called "ovaloid" a term that has not yet entered into common vocabulary, which is also interestingly what Apple normally does best --introducing non-conformist terms together with its product. Any proof about this supposed new feature? It is also a known fact Steve Jobs had always envisioned a buttonless iPhone, which was sadly done first by Nokia in its N9.

No Buttons! Even if Steve Jobs will no longer be credited to produce the first buttonless smartphone, a website reported that the new iOS 5 beta will be released with a control panel that allowing buttonless operation. Cnet.co.uk said that physical buttons will no longer be available in the new iPhone 5 and that the home button will no longer be present.

Sensitive side buttons Another website supported the buttonless aspect of the new product by reporting that the physical side buttons will now be touch sensitive. Mobilefun.co.uk says that the side buttons have been modified and exchanged places, putting the volume button a bit lower.

New Case Obviously, the new iPhone 5 will get a new fresh look with its new casing. 9to5mac.com noted that the case of a leaked prototype was "like nothing he's ever seen". The picture posted in the website was supposedly a leaked product from a Chinese manufacturer. Another website published similar casing with a different color red.

Back part is composed of aluminum To avoid the complications with its antenna just like in iPhone 4, it is rumored that the back part of iPhone 5 will be made of aluminum. No other supporting details were published yet about it.

Back part will feature curved glass While having a metal back may be practical, a curved glass on the back may even seem appealing to consumers. todaysiphone.com claimed to have noticed Apple buying glass-cutting machines, leading to a hypothesis that curved glass back may be in the making.

Hundreds of other crazy ideas how the new iPhone 5 will appear next month but the craziest thing most people have not realized is the fact that Apple has been cashing on minor tweaks of its smartphone since iPhone was first released. The first iPhone may had been one of the biggest technology news to have hit the mobile industry during the time of its release but the subsequent iPhone releases have all been all for scooping up cash while not really introducing some innovations in the process. The new iPhone 5 may or may not disprove this fact otherwise.
