iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 - A Breath of Fresh Air to Smartphone Design - Technology - Communication

There are plenty of high-end smart phones in the world out there, but very few can come close to the iPhone 4 in terms of the features or the high-end feel that it provides. The iPhone 4 has been around for quite some time now, which would have really reduced the appeal for other high-end smart phones, but not for the iPhone 4. Even after more than a year of its launch, this phone is still retaining the appeal amongst the high-end buyers, who tend to buy this phone in various options like in the SIM free version and contract options.

Soon, we will be getting to see the demise of the iPhone 4 at the top of the Apple portfolio because Apple announced that it will be replacing this phone with the iPhone 5. This phone has been growing in popularity ever since leaked images of this phone came online, but one can expect an even better popularity once the official announcement comes regarding this phone. This is because the iPhone 5 will be the most revolutionary and incredible phone that has been rumoured so far. It will not only provide competition to the Samsung Galaxy S2, which has assumed pole position in the smartphone industry, but will also challenge the supremacy of the upcoming phones as well.

Only leaked images of this incredible phones are available so far. The most recent one suggest that the iPhone 5 will indeed be coming with the edge to edge display technology, which will improve on the 3.5 inch display present in the iPhone 4. This is one of the most important aspects that the iPhone 5 should have given the fact that most of its rivals have moved on to the 4.3 inch or even 4.5 inch display size. It is about time Apple returned the favour in terms of the display size, although it certainly is not lagging in any way shape or form when it comes to the technology present in the display. The usage of the glass and metal body in the iPhone 4 is likely to be replaced with a new form of design, which will improve the aesthetic and user-friendliness of the phone.

Even though the iPhone 4 is one of the most better looking phones of all time, it has recently been overtaken by the Samsung Galaxy S2 in terms of the thickness. One can expect the iPhone 5 to regain the title of being the thinnest phone in the world once it is launched. Even if it does not take on the title of being the thinnest phone, it will still be able to claim to be the best smartphone in the world by virtue of having the 1 GHz processor. This is the same unit found in the Apple iPad 2 and Apple has used this dual core processor without any changes in the iPhone 5. Apple could seriously consider dropping the prices of the current iPhone 4 following the iPhone 5 launch.
