What Iphone 5 Must Have - Technology

Smartphones have evolved a lot since the beginning of iPhone. Most notably, screens have become bigger and bigger. For instance, Samsung's best-selling Galaxy S2 smartphone comes with a pleasing 4.3-inch touchscreen, likewise with the HTC Sensation and the Motorola Atrix with each of the phone offering a more multimedia friendly alternative to iPhone's Retina Display. Whether it comes in at 3.7 or 4-inches, iPhone users are anticipating for a larger screen, which would definitely offer-up a higher quality browsing experience and would make typing onscreen much less fiddly.

What we don't crave, however, is a 3D screen. Despite the fact the LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D have been in market for a while, the 3D content that make use of the technology is still insufficient. Besides that, there is a fact that a stereoscopic screen is likely to make you dizzy after 30 minutes.

We may not be expecting for 3D stereoscopic cameras, but an improved version camera is another must-have characteristic for the Apple iPhone 5. Although the iPhone 4's 5 megapixel camera is may no means not good, it's overshadowed by its Android rivals, where 8 megapixel features seem to come as regular. If the continuing rumours can be trusted, we can expected to see Sony's 8.1 megapixel Exmor R sensor on the back of the apple iphone 5.

Another must have characteristic for iPhone 5 is a dual-core powered processors, since Apple's main rival already touting about faster dual-core processors in their phone. It is expected that the new iPhone 5 will use iPad A5 onboard chipset which made its debut earlier this year. This make the new phone suitable for video streaming and harcore gaming. It would also make way for 1080p HD video capture too and hopefully using the latest 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Although it looks probable that we will see a dual-core processor, we won't see any support for one of the most sought after characteristic from Apple iDevice user which is microSD support just yet. However, if the speculations are true, then we will see the new iPhone 5 will have a gigantium 64GB version, that will delight user who looks for additional storage.

With Samsung claiming that it's Galaxy S2 is the thinnest mobile phone on the planet, everyone is believing that the new iPhone 5 will be more-svelte too. There's no doubt that iPhone users have a long list of want-to-have features onboard and if the progression between the iPad and iPad 2 is anything to go by, Apple will no doubt to shave off a few grams here and there.

It's not a secret anymore that Apple is notoriously secretive about the launching date. But at the moment, all fingers are pointing towards a mid-September release.

Whenever the release date is, get ready for some surprise from Apple as they would normally do every year.
