iPhone 5 Provides Elegance Along with Top Performance - Technology - Cell Phones

One of the highly successful models in recent times has to be the iPhone 4, but it is a phone that is simply not capable of challenging the supremacy of the Samsung Galaxy S2 - the best smartphone ever. It needs a brand-new invention on the part of Apple to prove that the Samsung Galaxy S2 is a flash in the pan and it will not be able to claim their supremacy in the high-end smartphone segment. The iPhone 5 looks set to be the invention that will provide the impetus that Apple needs at the moment because Samsung is fast catching up with the American company when it comes to the smartphone market share.

The iPhone 5 looks to be more than capable replacement of the iPhone 4. It is not only great to be different in terms of the design, but it turns out that it will totally replace some of the trademarks of the iPhone generations. This definitely has to include the 3.5 inch display, which has become something synonymous with the Apple iPhone, but it is simply a hindrance to the phone in its efforts to catch with the Samsung Galaxy S2. This is because while the other high-end smartphone manufacturers have moved towards the 4 inch or even 4.3 inch display, Apple has remained with the same 3.5 inch unit since the introduction of the original iPhone.

It looks like that will finally change and the iPhone 5 will be the product that will be influencing this change. This is partly because of the edge to edge display technology that is going to be released on the phone. This will be introduced into the mobile phone industry for the first time, and it will allow Apple to use the 3.7 inch display without actually making the phone bigger. Hence, even though the iPhone 5 will be on the similar level to the iPhone 4 in terms of size, it is going to come with a much larger display. The presence of a variety of features and not just the display size alone has made the Samsung Galaxy S2 an incredible success. The iPhone 5 seems to have recognised this and will be coming with the first dual core processor in the iPhone range.

The iPhone 5 will be providing the same 1 GHz dual core A5 processor that has become synonymous with the Apple iPad 2. This will certainly dispel any rumours that the iPhone 5 will not be on par with the Samsung phone in terms of performance. Of course, this is slightly lesser in terms of the clock speed when it comes to the comparison between this processor and the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S2. However, the iOS 5 that will be used in the phone is slightly efficient than the Android 2.3 operating system used in the Samsung Galaxy S2. The iPhone 5 finally looks to be here after Apple has started providing training for the iPhone 5 support.
